Hi! My name is Jodi Carlson and I serve the students and faculty in the college of business. I truly enjoy helping students find “the right career fit!”

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay with a major in Organizational Communication in 1996. I then received my Masters in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs from UWO in 2005. After completing my internship at UWO Career Services I knew I had found my niche! As luck would have it, a position opened up shortly before I completed my Master’s Degree and I got the job! Initially I worked with a portion of the College of Business and the College of Nursing. However, Spring semester 2005 I was given the opportunity to work with the entire College of Business to streamline the process and increase continuity of service.

A few additional responsibilities I have include:

• Teach Counselor Education 202: Career Planning & Implementation Course
• Serve as the Faculty Advisor for the Phi Beta Lamda Club (PBL)
• Serve on The COBA Networking Planning Committee

Work life balance is extremely important to me since the birth of my daughter Isabella. In my free time I love to spend time with Bella, my husband Ross and my dog Lillie.
