Hi! My name is Kathy Pykkonen and I am the Professional Skills Coordinator for the Career Services Office.

I am thrilled to join the team here at UWO where I will bring my 10 years of Student Services experience to the students, staff and faculty.  I am originally from Duluth, Minnesota (sorry Packer fans), where I graduated with my MSE in Counseling from UW-Superior in 2001.  Prior to my educational pursuits, I was active duty Air Force for almost 8 years as well as a Human Resources Recruiter.  All of these experiences have lead me to discover my career passions and I feel very fortunate to share them with you as I deliver the Professional Skills Development program to UWO.

A few additional responsibilities I have include:

I dedicate my spare time to my two beautiful identical twin boys, Seth and Derek and my husband John.
