These Parking Regulations are designed to avoid congestion, to maintain safe driving conditions, to utilize the existing parking facilities to the maximum and to be as fair as possible to everyone.
At Parking Services we realize that while there usually is a parking place available for all commuters, it may not be close to your building. We suggest that you arrive in plenty of time for your classes, meetings or other campus activities. Be prepared for a little walk, especially during times of peak usage.
Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions about these parking regulations. We would be happy to explain them to you.
Our phone number is (920) 424-4455. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. At any other time, our answering machine will record your message and we will get back to you with a response. You may also e-mail us at: parking@pobox.uwosh.edu.
Parking Services offers free rides on city buses to all faculty, staff and students. Present your Titan Card and you can ride anywhere in the city on an Oshkosh city bus. The system offers service from 6:15 a.m. to 6:10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Oshkosh Transit System route maps are available at the Parking Services office in the lower level of Blackhawk Commons and at the Reeve Memorial Union information office located near Titan Central. You can also visit the City of Oshkosh Transportation Department Transit System Webpage.
Lot 4, the 28-stall parking lot on Woodland Avenue will be closed for construction at the beginning of the 2008/09 academic year. It is scheduled to re-open by the end of October as a new 80-stall parking lot.
Best wishes for a successful year!
